The Internet Mourns the Loss of Jeffree Star’s Dog
By Jasmine Ting
Oct 06, 2019On Saturday, Jeffree Star made a devastating announcement. His and his partner Nathan Schwandt's dog, Daddy Star, has passed away. And the Internet is sending messages of love and support, and morning with the blogger.
Star first informed fans that Daddy was being rushed to the vet. “I can’t believe that I’m even typing this right now but our dog Daddy has to have immediate surgery & has an abscess in his liver... The doctor just told Nate and I that he has 50% chance of living... I’m so fucking devastated and wish I could trade places with him right now,” the makeup mogul tweeted.
Sadly, the cute Pomeranian pup didn't survive the operation. “#RIPDaddyStar With heavy hearts we have to share the devastating news that our dog Daddy passed away early this morning," Star tweeted. “His body couldn't handle the surgery + the complications of his medical condition. I can't put into words how much we love our pets and how much this hurts."
Fans and fellow bloggers have since been sending sweet messages, wishing the Star family well.
So sorry Jeffree :( sending our love.

I’m so sorry, Jeffree. Daddy lived a life other dogs could only dream of, and he passed knowing his pack was with him and he was loved. That’s all any of us can hope for at the end. I hope the pain of his passing can one day turn to fond memories of your time together ❤️

Just in June, Star and Schwandt also lost their nine-year-old dog Diamond, with a special video dedicated to her loss. While the passing of these doggos are devastating for the couple, they thankfully still have four Pomeranian babies to care for: Drama, Da Vinci, Diva, and Delicious.
R.I.P. Daddy. Your cuteness will be missed.
