The Dare Would Wear Raimundo Langlois For the Rest of His Life
Feb 06, 2025
New York Fashion Week kicked off Wednesday night with a special celebration hosted by Saks Fifth Avenue at the newly opened Crane Club Restaurant under Chef Melissa Rodriguez.
Surrounded by a champagne tower and caviar, guests like Alex Consani, Hari Nef, Laura Harrier and Ivy Getty all schmoozed among the venue’s burgundy velvet drapes, before being treated to a live performance from “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings” singer Caroline Polachek.
We asked three PAPER favorites who attended the party which NYC designer they’d wear forever, if given the choice.
Leyna Bloom, Saks Social Club Member, Would Wear LaQuan Smith Forever

The designer that I would wear from New York City: LaQuan Smith, all day every day. LaQuan, LaQuan, LaQuan Smith, darling.
The Dare Would Wear Raimundo Langlois Forever

If I could wear one New York designer for the rest of my life, it would have to be Raimundo Langlois, who I already wear every single day... on my lower half.
Thomas Doherty Would Wear Thom Browne Forever

If I had to pick one New York designer to wear for the rest of my life, it would have to be Thom Browne. I love the way that he pushes boundaries and doesn't really operate in a safe zone, but keeping it very elegant, very classic at the same time.
