Kim Kardashian Is a Greta Thunberg Fan

Kim Kardashian is in Armenia right now, celebrating her family's heritage and visiting Tsitsernakaberd, the Armenian Genocide memorial complex. Kim also gave an exclusive interview to Reuters while attending the World Congress on Information Technology in Armenia's capital city Yerevan, and the conversation took an eco-friendly turn.

Turns out that Kim, like the rest of us, has a certain Swedish teenager on her mind these days. Kardashian told Reuters that Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old who has led global protests against climate change inaction, is a "brave and amazing young woman" and said she would love to have dinner with her.

"She is such an amazing young girl, and so brave and courageous to stand up to these grown-ups that can be very scary and for her to be so open and honest is exactly what we need," she added. "Climate change is a serious problem."

Please note that Kim Kardashian isn't exactly an eco warrior, and is actually pretty well known for her love of private jet travel? That aside, a meeting of Kim and Greta would definitely make the cause go viral. Kardashian also offered her services as a social media guru, saying she'd be interested in meeting Thunberg's parents and helping them navigate their child's newfound fame.

"Speaking on a big platform invites a lot of different opinions and personalities," she explained. It's true that both Thunberg and Kardashian have their share of haters, though the comparisons do pretty much end there.

Perhaps sensing that people like me would roast her for name dropping Greta while enjoying a lavish, planet-killing celebrity lifestyle, Kardashian also brought up the topic of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's hypocritical private jet use. She defended the couple and called them "very passionate about decisions that change the world."

Hmm. Anyway, don't forget to bring your reusable cup to work tomorrow!
