You Need These Margiela-Inspired 'Goth Crocs'
by Savannah Hardman
Jan 17, 2020
Few shoes have seen as many iterations as the ever-polarizing Crocs. Since debuting in the early aughts, the foam rubber slides have seen collabs with Balenciaga, Post Malone and Christopher Kane. And now? Crocs has inspired a whole new look courtesy of brand Goth des Garçons, first popularized online by the likes of Rico Nasty.
With their latest design, "Goth Crocs" draws inspiration from one of fashion's greats: Martin Margiela. Goth des Garçons released a teaser on their Instagram two days ago and while the shoe has not been endorsed by Margiela, his influence is clear in the use of signature cracked white paint.
While previous styles of Goth des Garçons are available now on the brand's website, the Margiela-inspired style has still yet to be released. The brand has not revealed any details about whether they plan to release it, but rest assured, we'll be keeping a close eye on their Instagram in case they do.
