Beauty blogger and YouTube sensation Gigi Gorgeous is launching her own makeup collection. The 27-year-old, who has routinely and candidly shared her transition journey, mentioned the lack of inclusivity as one of the primary motivators for the new launch, WWD reports.
Gigi Gorgeous Cosmetics is a collaboration with Ipsy, the beauty subscription service co-founded by Michelle Phan. "They were one of the first companies to reach out and work with me when I landed in L.A. and started my career," Gorgeous told WWD. "We stayed in touch ever since."
Launching on November 1st, the line includes a "Less is More" lip gloss ($16), a contour brush ($18), and a duo matte bronzer and blush in two shades ($24).
The price point for the collection has been strategic, Gorgeous said. "I know people work hard for their money, obviously, so it was important to me that they get the most bang for their buck."
Speaking to what she hopes to achieve through the collection, Gorgeous added: "It's not just for women, ladies, girls. It's for everyone. That's the main message I want to send out."
Gigi Gorgeous Cosmetics launches November 1st and will be available to shop on Ipsy.
