BTS Is Taking a Damn Break

The hardest working boys in music BTS, fresh off the release of their third No. 1 album in a year, are taking a well-earned break.

Sunday morning, before scoring four trophies at the Teen Choice Awards that night, the K-pop giants announced the news on Twitter via a statement on their parent company Big Hit's account, that BTS will be taking an "official and extended period of rest and relaxation." The statement explained that their Lotte Duty Free Family Concert in Seoul, Sunday night, will be their last before they split for vacation.

"The period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentless driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators," their note reads, continuing, "This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly. During this time the members will rest and recharge in their own personal ways."

Aside from three albums, this year BTS killed a performance at the Billboard Music Awards, got their first Grammy nomination, sold out arenas across America on their "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" tour, collaborated with Charli XCX, Halsey and Lil Nas X, and made their debuts SNL, Colbert and Good Morning America. Not to mention... they've been on five world tours and released six albums since their debut in 2013.

So you might say they deserve it. Rest up, sweet princes!

The army approves so much they got #RestWellBTS and #HappyVacationBTS trending.
