Inside PAPER's H&M Holiday Dinner in LA

Dec 09, 2024

Lisa Rinna was the first guest to arrive at our holiday party — a prompt diva who clearly knows her way around Hollywood. In celebration of our PAPER People LA cover series, we hosted an intimate dinner with H&M on the West Coast to bring the fever dream of a photoshoot to life. (Only Rinna traded the towering blonde beehive for her classic spikey hair).

West Hollywood’s French bistro Amour hosted us in a private room, which we decorated with candles from H&M Home. The bar served tequila cocktails, as guests trickled in for a pre-dinner boozy beverage. Cover stars Mette, Rickey Thompson, Symone, Princess Gollum and Mayah Hatcher all wore head-to-toe looks from H&M Holiday, letting their personal styles shine through.

Heidi Montag and Tana Mongeau followed each other on Instagram, while Montag later dished on the best place to get a pound of caviar for cheap in Hollywood; Carter Gregory excitedly sang songs from Dreamgirls with his tablemates; Spice and Terri Joe (real name Kelon Campbell) arrived out of drag, but still served nonetheless.

Bonnie McKee wore a silver tinsel jacket that only a true pop star could pull off; Rio Uribe, of Rio Sport, rocked his signature unibrow; Mel 4Ever, Isaac Dunbar, Bonavega, Zana Bayne and Marsha Molinari all attended, toasting to the special city they call home with PAPER’s Justin Moran, Brian Calle and Matt Wille in town.

PAPER People is such a special project because it brings our community together in ways that are unexpected, but we wanted to reflect the range of personalities that are here in Los Angeles and celebrate everyone equally” Moran said, with Calle urging everyone to meet someone new at our dinner.
