Moncler Genius Reveals Class of 2020 Collaborators

For the third iteration of Moncler's Genius project, the outerwear brand is tapping some new names to join its roster of designer collaborators, including JW Anderson's Jonathan Anderson. This year also marks the first time Moncler is venturing into non-fashion territory, with luggage brand Rimowa and Danish electric bike startup Mate.bike among the new offerings.

The rest of the lineup includes some familiar names such as Richard Quinn, Simone Rocha and Craig Green, all of whom will once again be tasked with interpreting Moncler's puffer materials. (After two years, Valentino's Pierpaolo Piccioli is moving on.) Also returning are Sergio Zambon and Veronica Leoni for Moncler 1952, Sandro Mandrino for Moncler Grenoble, Simone Rocha, Craig Green, Matthew Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM, Fragment's Hiroshi Fujiwara and Poldo Dog Couture.

All will be unveiled during Milan Fashion Week at an open-to-the-public show on February 19, where the brand will showcase all of the collections at once. Like past Genius projects, the collections will be released in monthly drops through its stores and e-commerce shop.

"I really admire what Moncler has achieved with Genius and with the brand as a whole, how they articulate technology in a revolutionary way," Anderson told WWD. "It's just incredible, and I'm really excited about it."
