The 'Hot Girl Summer' Video Is Here and She's Perfect
Sep 03, 2019
The LAPD tried to shut it down, but nothing could stop Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj in their quest to create the perfect visual for the summer's pop crown jewel: "Hot Girl Summer."
The duo, plus guest Ty Dolla $ign, have been teasing the video for weeks, with pics of a luxurious mansion and Nicki and Meg in their neonanimal print finest.

Although Meg has declared that #HotNerdFall and #HotGirlSemester are upon us, the final result, directed by Munachi Osegbu, is the perfect nightcap for hot girl summer 2019.
The video follows the plight of influencer Jaimesha Thomas, as she struggles to find her hot girl summer groove ("Megan! Knees ain't strong like yours!").
But, of course, Meg and Nicki help her find it at an epic pool party, where Rico Nasty, La La Anthony, Ari Lennox, Juicy J and Summer Walker are all in attendance. Meg raps with a french bulldog tucked under her arm, Nicki gets very NSFW on a lucky actor, and Ty Dolla $ign mans the lifeguard chair.
There's plenty of looks, choreo and driving the boat, but the video's real joy is simply watching the two rap queens chessin' and having the time of their lives together.
