Zendaya may be collaborating with Tommy Hilfiger for her latest clothing line, but she needed to call on some major backup really dominate Paris Fashion Week. On Saturday night, 80's icon, supermodel/ singer Grace Jones graced the Tommy x Zendaya Spring 2019 runway, and the crowd at The Theatre Des Champs Elysées went wild.
Jones, who is now 70 years old, walked the runway to her own hit song, "Pull Up to the Bumper," and it was nothing short of amazing. The Internet couldn't agree more.

Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach worked on the show together, attempting to "echo the seminal 1973 "Battle of Versailles," where American designers won major accolades from Paris for the first time." And so, like designer Steven Burrows, they made sure all the models that walked the runway were a diverse group of black women of all shapes, shades, ages, genders, and sizes. Other than Grace Jones, the show also included trans model Leyna Bloom, Canadian model and vitiligo spokesperson Winnie Harlow, and many more.
"We're paying homage to these women who changed our legacy…and allowed for me and so many others to be here," Zendaya told WWD. "I remember when my Vogue cover came out, Beverly Johnson [the first African-American model to land the cover of American Vogue] tweeted me congratulations, and I said this wouldn't be possible without you. This is about saying we appreciate and love you."
Tyra Banks congratulated Zendaya, tweeting, "You see my face. I am in Paris. Watching so many fierce black women from all generations of modeling represent our beauty during the #TommyNow show! Some of the newbies are my ANTM babies!! I am so proud of Mizz Designer @Zendaya!" She continued, "The clothes are beyond epic (I'm wearing some in this pic!) and I want so many more! I'm still boppin' to all the jams from my childhood they blasted in the show. #TommyxZendaya"
