For Jacquemus' fall 2019 collection, the designer Simon Porte Jacquemus created an entire village devoted to his lifestyle and brand. Colorful doorways and decor with little signs such as "Place Jacquemus," lined the runway and a fake storefront full of the line's signature accessories was instant Instagram bait. Especially the new tiny bag the brand is releasing (featured in the collection and smaller than the palm of your hand) which corresponded to the tiny envelope invite guests received. The collection itself may have been more commercial than past seasons, but the bags and jewelry were where it excelled. Here's everything else you need to know about the show.

Deeply saturated fuchsia looks made a big statement given Jacquemus has a history of focusing on sophisticated neutrals. An angular blazer and one pair of trousers paired with an oversized coat were standouts.
Slouchy knee and thigh high boots in cream, different shades of green, rust white and brown popped in contrast to the soft layers seen in the collection.
Jacquemus has become so well-known for the bags, and this season didn't disappoint. Handbags were either extremely tiny, massive or layered around the waist to create new kinds of silhouettes.
There were many elements of suiting done in soft fabrics — but still tailored — to provoke a loungewear feeling within the collection. Blazers were worn with just one button done and excess fabrics hung off the sides where pockets should be.
