Every Product Used to Create These Effortless Oscars Beauty Looks

Plenty of show-stopping looks swept the Oscars Sunday night. From Billy Porter's stunning Christian Siriano tuxedo to Jennifer Lopez's dazzling Tom Ford gown, celebrities showed off their boldest looks. And sure, Oscars is great for spotting fashion trends but the event also unveiled some impressive beauty moments, as well.

This year, there were some definite winners from Regina King to Olivia Colman. But as effortless as they look, it's no easy feat creating these looks. The hours of intense precision and relentless work (often under immense pressure) eventually manifests itself into a seemingly effortless cat-eye or a bold lip, which is hard to emulate if you don't know the exact process behind it.

PAPER spoke to the artists behind the three natural beauty looks at the Oscars to break down the process and products that went behind creating them.

Regina King (by Latrice Johnson)

For the Eyes: "For Regina's eyes, I used the gorgeous warm Mothership II: Sublime Palette. I applied Skinshow Glow over her entire lid as a base shade. I then added depth by contouring the crease and lower lash line with dark and copper tones. For extra drama, her eyes were defined with Permagel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in Xtreme Black and topped off with the FetishEYES Mascara."

For the Skin: "To achieve that beautiful red carpet glow, I highlighted Regina's cheekbones with Skin Fetish: Highlighter + Balm Duo in Bronze and then topped with Skin Fetish: Sublime Skin Highlighting Trio in Bronze Nectar.

For the Lips: "The lips were kept neutral and nude by contouring with Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil in Ground Control and filling in with MatteTrance Lipstick in 1995. For the final touch, Lust Gloss in Wicked Whisper was added for that extra dose of dimension on the lips."

Olivia Colman (by Sara Huslan)

For the Eyes: "Her smokey eye had bits of chocolate shimmer accents that paired perfectly with the gorgeous green in her dress. I started with Mothership II: Sublime Palette by creating a base with Skinshow Glow. I used Copper Toned, a rich terracotta matte, to create depth by blending outward and into the crease. Using my fingertips, I pressed VR Nectar in the center of the lid for added shimmer. I mixed Mothership III: Subversive shades Gigabyte and Blitz Amethyst to create a golden green to bring out the color of the dress. I lined the top lash line with PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in Blitz Brown and used FetishEYES Mascara to add volume to the lash."

For the Skin: "To create a 'glow from within' look, I used Skin Fetish: Highlighter + Balm Duo in Golden under the foundation. Using my fingertips, I applied the highlighter on the high points of the face."

For the Lips: "First, I lined the lip with PermaGel Ultra Lip Pencil in 'Buff. Then, MatteTrance Lipstick in Beautiful Stranger added fun to the look!"

Melissa McCarthy (by Georgie Eisdell)

For the Skin: "Melissa has gorgeous skin, so I didn't need to use a lot of base and mainly used the Mineral Airs foundation to start. For the blush, I used a small amount of 100% PURE Fruit Pigmented Blush in Mauvette on the apple of the cheek to give a naturally flushed look. I then topped off the look with a bronzer and a highlight. I used 100% PURE Cocoa Pigmented Bronzer in Cocoa Kissed to shape the face and add a little warmth. For the highlighter, I applied a little of 100% PURE Gemmed Luminizer in Rose Gold on the cheek bones to give a stunning glow to the skin."

For the Eyes: "The eyes were the main focus of the look. I used a combination of 100% PURE's Fruit Pigmented Eye Shadows. First, I used the shade Mink on the lid and blended it up into the crease and sugared it on the center of the lid to add shimmer. To finish, I used the shade Bronze on the lash line to create depth. I brought all these colors underneath the eye to really get it smokey and gorgeous."

For the Lips: "Her lips, we kept soft but with a hint of color. I used 100% PURE Fruit Pigmented Cocoa Butter Matte Lipstick in Cassia and then added 100% PURE Lip Caramel in Butterchew."
