Inside the Hottest New York Fashion Week Parties
By Matt WeinbergerSep 16, 2024
New York Fashion Week's main focus may be the many, many runway shows taking over the city, there's also plenty of fun to be had after the last model's cleared the stage. We sent man about town Matt Weinberger to capture Spring 2025 NYFW's after parties in all their chaotic glory — check out his photo diary, below.
Silencio was transformed into a fine house of Louboutin allure. The new Fétiche fragrance lined the walls of the space. Violet Chachki rocked the night and special guest Tinashe took the stage to bless the crowd. CT Hedden made an appearance and wasn't afraid to get a bit down and dirty on the dance floor. Like really down. So much fun.
The Downtown scene made it above 14th street to venture out into Chelsea to hit this one. Chrissy Chlapecka hopped up on a makeshift stage and sang a few songs. She has pipes! People popped out wearing all sorts of fun outfits. Twink knows how to bring a party.
Three fashion houses in one! Such a treat. Outlaw Agency x Pornhub brought together Private Policy, Untitled & Co, and Shao New York for an intense day of back-to-back runways, followed by this much-needed after party to celebrate. Models, friends, the designers, stylists and production crew all popped out to share in the festivities. Shout out to Briana Andalore, who styled the Untitled & Co show!
Party, Party! The party never stops! Laquan Smith, the king of style, brought it! A$AP Ferg was vibing with it. COBRAH was out here feeling it. Times Square seemed to be the place to be. Who knew so many cool people could find their way to midtown on a Monday night!
Now here's a new brand doing things right! Following a stand-out show, the Iseder team and friends came out to Home Sweet Home to celebrate. It was basically a Dimes Square meet Silverlake reunion mixed in with a smattering of Bushwick heads and fashion kids. Tati of the Snow Strippers was there. The Cobrasnake was shooting the party. Sophia Alvares was spotted on the scene.
Elena Velez really leveled up this season. Her new collection hit and was well worth celebrating, and people came out! Soho Grand was packed with fashion scene regulars, the downtown literatti and the creative compadres of the east and west coasts. Jason and Mimi were there! Maya AKA Stolen Besos was on the scene. Even the allusive Ava Pearlman made an appearance.
Ed Hardy is back! Y2K era fashion is still hitting hard. People are rocking it. Everyone seems to be in their Ed Hardy era. We all miss the Ella Funt basement, but despite it being closed, the upstairs still allows for a fun time. With good people, fun is always in order, and they brought the goods. Also, the free Ed Hardy Hat giveaways were a plus!
Yee haw! Grab on tight, this bull might buck. Collina Strada had a knockout collection this season! Of course line dancing was in order. Carnival games! There really was a mechanical bull. Collina's favorite it girl Hayley Williams was there hanging with Hillary Taymour, the brains behind the whole operation. Sustainable fashion rocks on!
