On the morning of October 25th, Chlomosexual took to Twitter in a frenzy, announcing Von's death and urging the community to send blood instead of flowers, with a call to gather for services that evening.

What followed was a macabre performance art resurrection at Terminal 5 known as Von's BLOODY MARY party. Chaos ensued with eight blood-soaked dancers summoning Von from the grave, boxers beating a clown with his own penis, a godlike figure bleeding from self-inflicted needles, and a wild mix of strippers, gay panic, and a full cannibal feast straight out of Jennifer's Body.

“If it’s not bloody, it’s boring,” Von says. “And we don’t settle for boring.”

Sets by renowned artists Cookiee Kawaii, La Goony Chonga, FACTORY, Antide, and Dylan Ali kept the energy high. Paloma Huntington-Ortega’s photos capture the energy of the unforgettable event, with standout dance performances by Julia Dipretoro, Marcus Sarjeant, Shannon Harkins, Kyla Lanae, KC, Toresstial, Madison Wada—all choreographed by Rachel Tiedemann. Blood-red joints by FLAMER and Verdi lighters as party favors elevated the vibe, while Haley Redfern’s creative direction brought it all together seamlessly. With performance looks styled by NAM and set design by Ruth Black, the night was a delectable sensory experience from start to finish. Thousands of New York queers reveled in the bloody spectacle. And now, so can you. Keep scrolling—if you dare.
