We will mourn for Vanessa and Austin, but maybe not for these two. Page Sixreports that Pete Davidson and Kaia Gerber have called it quits, and Cindy Crawford's deep sigh of relief is audible from here.
The split comes a few weeks after the release of incredible, Pulitzer-worthy paparazzi photos taken outside of Kaia's apartment, featuring the model's two concerned parents conducting crisis talks in their Moncler puffers. Supposedly Cindy and Randy were heavily advising their daughter to break up with Davidson, and imploring the SNL comic to seek professional help for his addiction and mental health issues.

The Page Six source indicates Gerber took this to heart, saying, "It looks like Pete and Kaia are over. It got very overwhelming for Kaia. Pete has a certain M.O. and he's very intense to his girlfriends. Kaia is only 18 and it's a lot to deal with." (Pete is 26.)
During the the most recent episode of SNL, Davidson joked that he would be spending the upcoming holiday period in rehab — Page Six seems to think he was serious, and notes that he hasn't been spotted in public since December. Gerber meanwhile has been vacationing in Miami with their mutual friend Tommy Dorfman.
