Nicole Kidman downed an entire glass of milk while accepting her Best Actress award at the 2025 National Board of Review Awards. “I’m going to raise a glass to all of the babygirls in the room,” she said, recreating Babygirl’s viral bar scene and toasting all the attendees responsible for the year’s top achievements in film.
Elsewhere throughout the night, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande received a Creative Collaboration award for Wicked, while Anora’s Mikey Madison earned a Breakthrough Performance honor.
The non-televised showcase was held at Cipriani 42nd Street and hosted by Willie Geist, continuing an illustrious awards season that kicked off with the Golden Globes. Other special guests included the likes of Daniel Craig, Michelle Yeoh, Elle Fanning and Drew Starkey.
