Just a few days after Loewe showed its surreal collection of lip busts, car dresses and balloon heels during Paris Fashion Week, the label is debuting its first collaboration with On Running, the Swiss athletic shoe company known for its proprietary cushioning technology (Roger Federer is an investor).
The capsule, which officially dropped today, consists of Loewe editions of On's signature Cloudventure and Cloudrock sneakers in five colors as well as six ready-to-wear pieces for women and seven for men, all of which combine On's performance elements with Loewe's attention to craft and detail.
Some of the key design techniques include gradient effects and a Japanese sashiko-inspired needlework print that resembles a starry night, while the marble-effect soles are processed individually and manually, making each shoe unique. An extensive use of recycled polyester and recycled packaging was also used for responsible production.
The collection is available now at LOEWE stores and loewe.com.
