Getting Kenzo Ready With ALXS
Jan 29, 2025
Fresh off his collaboration with Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton, Nigo invited another friend into his creative universe for Kenzo’s collection during Paris Fashion Week. New York graffiti legend Futura mixed his signature style with the brand, specifically redesigning the Kenzo flower and incorporating his popular atom logo. Together, Nigo and Futura brought a ’90s streetwear edge to Kenzo’s heritage that also spoke to the pair’s longtime friendship (they first met in 1996 in Tokyo).
The show was attended by VIPs including NLE Choppa (who wore Kenzo on his recent PAPER cover), Ty Dolla $ign, Rich the Kid and French Montana. Williams also sat front row, near a rising artist he's directing named ALXS, whose modern blend of hip-hop and R&B is bubbling up by way of new single “Callin’” with Pusha T. She’s poised to have a breakout year in 2025, which includes new music.
While in Paris, ALXS brought PAPER inside the process of getting ready for Kenzo, where she was dressed by the brand and sat next to Shae from N.E.R.D.
