On the night of Hollywood's biggest celebration, the 2025 Oscars, the city witnessed another iconic event — one that’s become nearly as synonymous with glitz and glamour as the Academy Awards themselves: the 33rd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Party.
The legendary soirée brought together A-listers from all corners of entertainment for a memorable evening with star-studded fun, looks and, most importantly, raising money for a critical cause. Over the years, Sir Elton John’s charity event has grown into one of the most anticipated parties of the awards season, and this year was no exception.
Names like Camila Cabello, Megan Thee Stallion, Heidi Klum, Paris Jackson, Donatella Versace, Julia Fox and Dylan Mulvaney all stopped by West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles for the Sunday viewing party, hosted by John and his husband David Furnish.
The night notably included a live performance from PAPER cover star Chappell Roan, whom John called “one of the biggest stars in the world right now.” She sang “HOT TO GO!” and covered John's '70s hit “Your Song,” before joining him in performing “Pink Pony Club” as an electrifying duet.
John’s commitment to the LGBTQ+ community and his ongoing advocacy for global health equity was evident throughout the evening, which raised an incredible $8.6 million to end AIDS and invited 1,000 guests to join in the fight. Since launching in 1992, the viewing party has helped the Elton John AIDS Foundation raise more than $123 million for their life-saving work.
