BOSS Takes Over Milan With Sporty Minimal Tailoring

For Spring 2020, BOSS moved its runway show from New York to Milan. One thing that didn't change, however, was the German brand's continued effort on making clothes that attract a younger consumer. The mix of sporty, tailored, and minimal offerings are a far cry from the boring, stuffy suits the brand was once associated with. Indeed, there was a sleek, very of-the-moment vibe of the collection, with tiny accessories, monochromatic dressing and a smart use of leather injected throughout. It will no doubt appeal to a wider audience, with looks perfectly suitable for the boardroom as well as the street. Here's everything else you need to know about the co-ed collection.

Feeling Blue

Nearly every shade of blue, from icy hues to deep turquoise, was used in this collection, particularly the monochromatic layering looks.

Cargo Pockets

Big cargo pockets were affixed to utilitarian jackets that were nonetheless tailored and sharply cut.

Sensual Suiting

The brand's signature tailoring for men got a sensual touch for the women, with single-breasted and double-breasted numbers with bare chests and nipped waists emanating a softer, feminine mood.

Lofty Leather

Supple leathers were both structured and fluid, with the brand showing off its expertise in the material on a variety of shapes and forms.

Boss Women

While tailoring is the brand's forte, a selection of fluid, satin eveningwear was well executed and made a solid proposition of what BOSS' female clients could see themselves in.
