At Paco Rabanne's show in Paris today, Creative Director Julien Dossena introduced menswear on the runway for the first time. The male models sported sleek tailoring in shiny fabrics, colorful prints, and retro hairstyles that vibed well with the women's offering. As a whole, the collection leaned big into '60s and '70s references, prints of hearts and daisies, and its signature metal mesh and chain links. Here's everything else you need to know about the collection.
Big red hearts abounded in both the men's and women's looks, including a giant heart shape on a t-shirt and a multi-heart pattern on a chain link dress.
Paco Rabanne's signature use of silver once again came through in metallic dresses and shimmery suits.
Daisies were another recurring motif on the runway, taking form in an abstract pattern on a bodice and literal prints on a midi skirt.
The rest of the prints were all mashed together in clashing form, including bold stripes and micro florals.
Long thin socks in bright colors were paired with feminine strappy shoes with chunky heels.
