Chromat really worked it out for their Fall 2020 show, swapping out a typical runway for a full-on sweat session at Rise by We Wellness center. With an all-star group of models that included everyone from Jari Jones and Lina Bradford to Carmen Carrera and West Dakota, this season's #ChromatBabes got physical in the name of fashion. Taking inspiration from Olympic athletes throughout history, Becca McCharen-Tran's latest presentation "reimagined the Olympics as a gender inclusive space where athletes can compete as they are."
The Chromat 2020 team was decked out in custom Reeboks to train, dance and rock the electric assortment of body-hugging styles in the brand's signature bright hues. Per usual, the brand also featured a stunning variety of body types, genders and abilities for the exciting show. While the badass display of Chromat babes felt contemporary in its inclusivity, the show drew attention to the sporting world's history of being the exact opposite. The show's notes posed the question: Why are trans, intersex and non-binary athletes forced to undergo body modification to compete as their true selves within an oppressive gender binary system?
The crop tops, shorts and asymmetrical leggings came in an array of bright colors and styles that gave a whole new spin on workout gear. Get into the looks below:
