At Juun.J's Fall 2019 runway show in Paris earlier this year, the South Korean designer debut the first peek at his new collaboration with Canada Goose. The oversized parkas showcased many of his signature design chops (structured minimalism is his forte) combined with the legacy outerwear brand's classic features and technical functionality.
Now, just in time for colder weather, the full details of the collaboration have finally been revealed. The four-piece unisex capsule will consist of three of Canada Goose's iconic parka styles with the high fashion Juun.J treatment, including the Resolute 3-in-1, Snow Mantra, and Expedition. (Prices range from $1,595 to $1,895.) The fourth piece is a Merino wool hoodie called the Ashcroft, which retails for $650.
The hoodie in particular marks Canada Goose's first time collaborating with a partner on a knitwear piece. The design uses Canada Goose's proprietary Thermal Mapping technology, which features an open-knit construction for areas prone to overheating, including the upper back, under the sleeves and on the side of the body.
