Who are you?

Damon Davis.

What do you do?

I am a Visual Artist, Filmmaker, Musician, and Writer that uses different mediums to tell stories.

What are you most proud of from 2018?

I'm proud of the opening of "Darker Gods In The Garden of Low-Hanging Heavens" a multiple-disciplinary art experience I have been working on for over 3 years. It was well received in my hometown of St. Louis and in Miami during Miami art week. The breadth of the work in the show includes photography, film, and written word as well as an album/soundtrack that accompanies the artistic universe I created.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge in 2019?

Staying balanced with my work, and my rest, and spending time with the ones I love.

What do you think will be your biggest opportunity in 2019?

I am launching a new podcast with a close friend of the same name (Damon and Damon: A Podcast) as well as several other projects and business ventures. I am working on a few film and music projects as well as moving "Darker Gods" around the U.S. in a traveling exhibition. I just have a lot on my plate but I am super excited to keep creating and telling stories.
