Who are you?

My name is Jessie Woo and I am comedian, host, social content producer, singer and proud Haitian Seeester.

What do you do?

I got my start doing cultural commentary and comedic skits on social media. I also write and host two shows for BET.com, I am a new cast member on VH1's Love & Hip Hop Miami season two and starting in February I will co-host Twitter's new weekly talk show, Power Star Live, that is executive produced by Will Packer Media.

What are you most proud of from 2018?

In addition to landing the female co-host spot on Twitter's Power Star Live in 2018, I am most proud that I've been able to balance it all. I create content for my online followers daily, I travel the country doing stand-up, I shot a reality show, I'm working on new music, I host on BET, I partner with brands like AT&T, and I also do my Seeester Talk Live series — It's a lot to juggle at times, but I love what I do.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge in 2019?

I think music will be my biggest challenge in 2019. I've been introduced to the world as a comedian, and even with the music success of Cardi B and Lil Duval, I understand that it may take time for people to see me as a serious artist.

What do you think will be your biggest opportunity in 2019?

Jamie Foxx is my career idol, and my goal for 2019 and beyond is to fully use all of my God-given talents. I want my name to be synonymous with music, comedy, acting and hosting. "Jessie Woo, EGOT Winner" has a nice ring to it…don't you think?

Where can we follow you?
