Watch These Versace Vixens Plot a Car Heist in the Wild West

The rich history of the American West is a reference used often by many European designers, and Versace was one of the first Italian fashion houses to embrace the genre back in the '80s. For the brand's Cruise 2020 collection, which is available now in stores and online, Donatella imbued multiple western motifs in both ready-to-wear and accessories, including cowboy boots and hats, star-shaped badges, belt buckles, and pieces inspired by fringed blankets and ponchos.

Coinciding with the Cruise launch is a pair of short films depicting a desert landscape and two crafty models plotting to rob a truck. Clad in full Versace gear, Kris Grikaite and Sara Grace Wallerstedt look utterly chic as they manage to steal an 18-wheeler from an unsuspecting driver as they're being chased by the sheriff. Very Thelma and Louise meets Bonnie and Clyde if you ask us.

Check out the "The Chase" and "The Heist," below, to see Versace's western dreams come to life.
