Kylie Jenner has officially broken the silence on her pregnancy, announcing on Instagram that she gave birth to a healthy baby girl on February 1, 2018.
"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions," she wrote. "I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how."

Referring to speculation that the announcement would be done on Keeping Up with the Kardashians or as some sort of publicity stunt, Jenner continued, "There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness."
Jenner also released an 11-minute video to her YouTube channel titled "For Our Daughter," featuring footage of Jenner pregnant and with the father of her child, Travis Scott, along with footage of her friends and family talking about the pregnancy.
