Her stunning album, The Electric Lady, was released 5 years ago, and she has since been focusing on her film career with major roles in Hidden Figures and Moonlight. Now, the virtuoso will fuse her talents on an upcoming album and accompanying "emotion picture," Dirty Computer. The new album and video will likely develop Monáe's android archangel character, Cindi Mayweather, whom she has constructed in previous works.
