This Y-Project/UGG Collab Will Trigger You

Does the feel of slipping your foot into fresh shearling throw you into a frenzy? Do you deal with overwhelming nostalgia for 2003, the peak of the UGG-era? Have you prayed to reveal your UGG collection to friends? Can you recall actively wishing your UGGs wouldn't just stop at mid-calf? Well, do we have some news for you.

In what just might be the most bizarre (and honestly iconic) collaboration of the year, Y-Project has teamed up with UGG to make a capsule collection of boots in silhouettes that will leave you shaking. Showcased at Paris Fashion Week, the range includes slouch UGGs, over-the-knee UGGs, layered knee-height UGGs and UGG slides. Y-Project creative director, Glenn Martens, says he hoped the androgynous line would push the the Australian brand's boundaries.

"The UGG Classic boot is one of the most recognizable shoes in history," he said. "It's timeless and challenging design made it a worldwide statement. Y/Project is about challenges. Since launch we've been twisting the grounded codes, we challenged the acceptable and triggered people by putting focus on the unexpected. By reworking the Classic boot with a typical Y/Project twist such as the triple overlaps and the extra-long legs we want to celebrate the UGG brand's unique history."

The UGG® x Y/Project collection will range in price from $270 to $1380 USD, so if you've got some coins to spare and want be cozy-but-make-it-fashion, get yourself some over-the-knee UGGs STAT.
