As a counterpart to our MCM series, our new WCW column sees us shooting and interviewing our favorite female (and female-identifying) models of the moment. This week? Tarsha Orsmsan from IMG.

Name? Age? Hometown? Sign of the zodiac?

Tarsha, 18, Wellington New Zealand, Sagittarius

Did you always want to be a model growing up?

Nope, I hated the stereotype of what a model was. I acted/danced as a kid and fell into modelling.

How did you get discovered?

I acted/danced as a kid and fell into modelling.

Do you remember the first casting or go-see you ever went on? What was it like? Were you nervous?

My first casting was for Wellington Fashion Week and I had to walk in front of a panel of judges and about 50 other models, so I was pretty nervous!

Are there any models you really look up to or whose careers you'd like to have?

I have always adored Gemma Ward! If I could have half of the career she had it would be amazing!

What has been the most fun job you've booked in 2016?

I got a small role in a movie with Scarlett Johansson and Juliette Binoche! That was so much fun and such a new experience.

Tell us about where you're from. What's a fact about your hometown / home country no one knows? Is there a modeling industry in your hometown?

I'm from Wellington, it's the most wonderful little city... a fun fact is that the most creative loveliest people live there! There's a very small industry there for models.

Do you have any routines before castings or shows that you always follow? (For instance, do you always wear the same kind of outfit, wear the same makeup or skincare, do your hair the same way? Eat the same breakfast?

I just go with the flow, it always depends how I'm feeling I always have my trusty tote bag with everything I need. And my hair is always in a center parting.

What do you like to do during your free time?

Netflix, sleep, dance, scrapbooks/sketching. And I'm always pulling funny faces in the mirror (strange fact!)

Do you have any hidden talents?

I act a little. I also did ballet, jazz, lyrical hip hop and musical theatre. And I'm secretly super neat and tidy (that is my talent)

What's something no one knows about you?

When I'm at the gym by myself I have a full on impromptu dance session!

What are your favorite beauty/skincare/hair products?

Coconut oil! and Bioderma are life savers
