Just when you thought the Dior Homme SS16 campaign couldn't get any more good looking, the brand has just dropped a gorgeous, black-and-white film that's a moody, xx-filled overload -- and we're a little obsessed.
Directed by Willy Wanderperre and conceptualized by creative director Kris van Assche, the short stars actor Alain-Fabien Delon, artist Rinus Van de Velde, model Victor Nylander, as well as The xx's co-vocalist/bassist Oliver Sim, and is all soundtracked by Jamie xx's "Stranger In the Room", a Sim-voiced track from last year's critically-acclaimed
In Colour -- a purposeful gesture that reflects van Assche's desire to reflect "qualities [each model is] known for in their actual lives."
"In the visuals we tried to get across the idea of a collection of contemporary artist's garrets or a present day commune; a combination of the individual and the collective in a sense," van Assche said in an interview with
WWD. "There is an idea of isolated individuals and then a coming together as well -- individual worlds making one Dior Homme world". Watch the film in full below, via Hypebeast, or on Dior's website
