Radiohead has released a new music video for their beautiful, cryptic climate change protest song "The Numbers" from A Moon Shaped Pool, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (please feel free to use "We're not at the mercy of your chimeras and spells" on your next protest poster). The stripped-down video features Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood playing the song on a beautiful golden hilltop in Tarzana, CA, accompanied by a drum machine, and we can only assume, a ring of confused hikers. And because it just wouldn't be a Radiohead video without something mysterious happening, it concludes with Greenwood switching off the drum machine and Thom Yorke saying, "probably." Probably indeed... Anderson has directed two other videos from the album, including "Present Tense" and "Daydreaming."
