Last night, Lady Gaga treated Londoners at Hackney's Moth Pub with the first-ever live performance of her dramatic, Meatloaf-esque new single, "Perfect Illusion." Pogoing around the stage in sequin hot pants and a crop top, she delivered all the hallmarks of a perfect Gaga performance: powerhouse vocals, claw hands, extreme facial expressions and just the right amount of underboob.

No matter how you feel about "Perfect Illusion," you should know now that it will be stuck in your head without relief for the next several months and get on board (remember "Applause"?). If you're going to catch yourself absentmindedly screeching "IT WASN'T LOOOVEE" into the night every time you fold your laundry, you may as well love it.

Watch Lady Gaga absolutely crush it below...

It is so good to have Stefania back in circulation... if only because she is not at all involved with any of the broiling, incestuous gossip narratives that swirl around pretty much every celebrity depicted in the 'Famous' sculpture.

For instance, consider how far removed Gaga is from this video Taylor Swift aka Nils Sjoberg posted of herself singing along to Calvin Harris' "This Is What You Came For" while supporting Gigi Hadid at the Tommy Hilfiger show.

Is Taylor extending an olive branch to Harris now that the Hiddleswift nightmare is over, or just offering a shady reminder to the world that she wrote her ex's hit? Hmm...

*starts humming*

*begins singing softly*

....

*begins screaming, startling dog*

"IT WASN'T LOOOVE, IT WASN'T LOOVVVEEE, IT WAS A PERFECT ILLUSION..."
