Last night's L.A.'s Create with Red Bull Music Academy, featured Charli XCX, Hannah Diamond, A.G. Cook and Carly Rae Jepsen. Charli and Cook performed a new song called "Bounce"; Jepsen debuted "Supernatural," a forthcoming unreleased track; and Diamond and Charli joined forces to sing "Paradise."

Their performances were delivered with moxie and flair. Charli's powerful voice and high energy resonated during her performance of "Paradise." Jepsen's "Supernatural" sounded like pop perfection-- like all her songs do-- but something feels different. I hear the earnest and edgy influence of the band Born Gold in "Supernatural," but that might be just me.
