Uptown Special, Mark Ronson's fourth album and one of our most hotly anticipated releases of 2015, comes out tomorrow. On Sunday Ronson announced this remix, by BBC 1 DJ Benjamin Benstead (aka Benji B), of the just stupidly good single "Uptown Funk!" This version isn't as exhilarating the original (but then, what is?); it's more like a deeply stoned dissection of the song that reveals glittering little details as it bounces along. Bruno Mars mostly sits out, ceding the spotlight to the beat, enough dub delay to appease Scratch Perry and, best of all, lots of those outrageous slap bass lixxx.

Listen to the remix, below. We'll see you tonight, in the overnight line at Tower Records, Sports Walkmen juiced and ready.
