'Twas the Night Before the Twelve Days of a Nutcracker Christmas Carol

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE THE TWELVE DAYS OF A NUTCRACKER CHRISTMAS CAROL

Devised, designed and directed by Ken Nintzel, this one promises to be as silly as its title. Nintzel knows how to be festive. In his previous show Lapse, about a woman in a coma, he showed the passage of time through the celebration of national holidays. With a cast of 20-plus performers, 'Twas borrows freely from Dickens and Tchaikovsky, with the voice of Richard Foreman thrown in to lend some gravity.

P.S. 122, 150 First Ave., (212) 477-5288. Dec. 1523.
