Hold onto your footballs and get ready to be torn apart, because everybody's favorite cajun corpse-man auteur Tommy Wiseau is finally following up 2003's "worst film of all time" / love triangle revenge thriller/ morality tale / cheese dream / body horror masterpiece, The Room. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film, entitled Best F(r)iends, is about a down-on-his-luck man befriended by a "lonely mortician." Right. Yes. This sounds...right. The script was written by Wiseau's Room co-star Greg Sestero (Oh hi Mark!), apparently inspired by a road trip he took with Wiseau back in 2003. In a statement to THR, Wiseau promised "After watching Best F(r)iends, your mind will find paradise." (!!!)

The magnificent trailer for this instant classic features bloodied men standing in traffic, Tommy Wiseau's wet bangs, a hearse pick-up, a nightmarish Vaseline scene, piles of teeth, piles of cash, a "crazy cuckoo girl," and a flesh mask.

Distribution details for Best F(r)iends are still forthcoming, however, it seems that they're trying to get a theatrical release. Yay! James Franco is currently working on an adaptation of Sestero's memoir about the making of The Room entitled The Masterpiece, in which he will play the role of Wiseau. Can't lie, really excited for my mind to find paradise.
