Frieze New York Kick-Off Party With Martha Wainwright + Mark Ronson
The first New York edition of London's FRIEZE Art Fair doesn't open to the public until May 4, but MoMA PS1 welcomes them to the city with a big party tonight. Martha Wainwright will perform a full set in the museum's courtyard dome to kick-off the event. She's planning to include a couple of her famous Edith Piaf covers along with her own music, plus some Kraftwerk-inspired tributes. Later that night there's a DJ set by Mark Ronson.
MoMA PS1, 22-25 Jackson Ave., Long Island City, Queens. 8-11 p.m. Tickets $25 in advance, $50 at the door, and available here.
