The Wind in the Millows

Thanks to Inhabitat for writing about these raddy-rad tree-like windmills. Apparently the Dutch government commissioned One Architecture, Ton Matton and NL Architects to design windmills that would fit in with the Dutch landscape... These  windmills are arguably less intrusive than other more traditional-looking windmills because they look like trees. It is up for debate whether or not they are unintrusive, but not up for debate is how cool-looking they are. We think Rembrandt would be proud. Three cheers for Tim Burton-esque wind power!!!
