THE RIGHT KIND OF PEOPLE
This new comedic satire by actor-talk-show raconteur Charles Grodin was gleaned from Grodin's own experiences as a co-op board member of his Fifth Avenue building, where pets, race and insufficient earning power become deal breakers. Chris Smith directs, and a young theatrical-producer type (Tom Rashman) acts as Grodin's surrogate, a man adrift in a backwater of bigotry and backstabbing.
