THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE
Irish playwright Martin McDonagh, responsible for last season's The Pillowman, is back with more black-comedy surprises. Set in 1993 on a rocky island off Ireland's Galway coast, the plot revolves around an IRA terrorist named Padraic who couldn't care less about any human being but dearly loves his cat Thomas. By accident or design, the cat ends up dead while Padraic is off torturing and bombing, but no one wants to tell him about his pet's death when he returns. David Wilmot and Brian d'Arcy James star and Wilson Milam directs.
