[UPDATE 07/08/16, 2 p.m.: The Game and Snoop Dogg are currently holding a press conference alongside LA Mayor Eric Garcetti and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck. You can watch the livestream via TMZ below.]

Earlier today, the Game announced via his Instagram that he would be leading a peaceful, early morning protest through the streets of LA to the steps of LAPD headquarters.

Dubbed "Operation H.U.N.T." -- which is an acronym for both Hunt Us Not Today and Hate Us Not Today -- he issued a call to action to all "ALL GANGS, ALL RACES, ALL GROWN MEN affiliated or not" to come together and "make the Californian government & it's law branches aware that from today forward, we will be UNIFIED as minorities & we will no longer allow them to hunt us or be hunted by us."

Rapper Snoop Dogg is also involved in the protest and is currently uploading videos onto his Instagram from outside LAPD HQ.
