In the semi-innocent early days of this election cycle, before we descended into the full blown Hieronymous Bosch Trumpscape we are mired in today, Hillary Clinton's primary directive was to prove to millennials that she's as cool as Bernie Sanders. It's always awkward when people of a certain age try to "get down" with "the youth," and this was no exception. The Broad City appearance, the dabbing, the choice of "Fight Song", the "hot sauce in my bag" comment, the Lena Dunham of it all, the "Pokemon GO to the polls" (remember Pokemon Go?) and on and on and on... Hillary Rodham Clinton is TFW fleek, fam!

Well, now we know for sure it could have been worse. Much worse. Wikileaks has revealed that during a campaign stop in Birmingham, AL, the Clinton campaign was actually kicking around the idea of incorporating a 'yo mama' joke in her speech ("It slayed in '92," Bill Clinton chimes in from the den). In the leaked emails, staffer Amanda Renteria asked if everybody was comfortable with the idea and mercifully, they were not. "Yikes" even.

Thankfully Hillary has shifted her attention back to her primary directive of demon slaying, so as long as she doesn't quote Lemonade in her victory speech, we'll be LMFAO AF lit my guy.

P.S. You don't have to squint very hard to imagine this is Tim Kaine...
