We Should All Be Feminists is one of the best distillations of the feminist movement, and it looks like the country of Sweden agrees with me, as it's set to be given to every 16-year-old in the country.
Set up by the Swedish Women's Lobby and publisher Albert Bonniers, it's meant to serve as an introduction to discussions surrounding feminism and gender equality, and will hopefully be integrated into high school curriculums across Sweden.
"This is the book that I wish all of my male classmates would have read when I was 16," Clara Berglund of the Swedish Women's Lobby said. "It feels so important to contribute to this project. It is a gift to all second-grade high-school students, but it is also a gift to ourselves and future generations."
