THE LOOK: "I took one of this issue's themes -- social networking and technology -- as a departure point, and assembled a look that incorporates tech-driven pieces like bonded fabrics, Nike's Dri-FIT running tights and shoes that combine a classic shape with a sneaker sole. I layered a dress shirt underneath to elevate the outfit and make it into a more high-end look than your everyday sportswear ensemble." -- Luigi Tadini
THE BOY: 25-year-old Lee Smith was recruited to show off the techie trends this month. Besides his day job as a gallery manager, he is the secretary of the New York Ramblers Soccer Club, the first ever gay soccer club in the city, founded in 1980. "I Googled gay soccer," he says, "and the rest is history. Our club is a super fun group of athletes from all walks of life, and it's a good excuse to wear lots of comfy sportswear."
THE SPOT: This spaceship-like building at 166 Perry Street was designed by Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture in 2011.
