A group of NYC-based QTPOC artists have organized a fundraiser event to benefit the families of the Orlando massacre this coming Sunday at C'mon Everybody.

Representing Latinx, Black, Caribbean and South Asian communities, the aptly named #SayTheirNames event brings together several different collectives and crews who want to help "foster spaces for our communities to be themselves and thrive through music and celebration."

"We are all deeply affected and humbled by the Pulse Nightclub tragedy, and as people who spend a lot of time fostering club spaces that are safer for QTPOC, we feel moved and obligated to support the victims and their families in the best way we know how: by bringing people together," the group wrote via email. "This violence is deeply personal for our communities and we want to hold space for that."

Featuring an all-star, local line-up, the scheduled performers are Papi Juice, Battyjack, Ushka, Riobamba, Cremosa, Mursi Layne, Shyboi, and False Witness. All the proceeds will go to the families of the Pulse victims. Mark your calendars, and find out more about the event here.
