Raf Simons Sells You on Rainy Days with Spring '18 Campaign

By Jennifer Hussein

Raf Simons and photographer Willy Vanderperre have partnered up yet again for the designer's eponymous brand's latest campaign, and if our rainy days look anything like the images, then sign us up for some spring showers.

The pair, along with stylist Olivier Rizzo, have created a orient-inspired retro dreamland for the Raf Simons Spring-Summer 2018 collection, with Simons veering away from his heavily Americana influenced Calvin Klein direction and heading towards the more elaborate styles of Eastern-Asia. It all serves a very moody, Chinatown-chic, featuring rain-stained windows, Chinese lanterns, and of course, the newest styles for his menswear line (the anti-fit raincoats paired with plaid and paisley hats are exactly what we all needed to tie our spring styles together).

Simons seems to have a lot on his fashionable plate lately. On top of taking care of his own label, which has built itself as a major player in the industry (fans of the brand include Rihanna and A$AP Rocky), he is also the current Creative Director of the legendary brand, Calvin Klein, and previously collaborated with Vanderperre for the brand's latest campaign, which starred the Kardashian-Jenner sisters.
