Once upon a weekend in a magical land dubbed Vapelandia, Brooklyn's underground party scene gathered in the back of a Bushwick chicken shop to celebrate the birthday of Thump's Michelle Lhooq. Alternating between themed genre sets from the likes of Rizzla, Slava, Jubilee and Joey LaBeija, it was the preeminent gathering of NYC's DIY rave community, one that was even blessed by the presence of 90s club kid Michael Alig. As such, we knew we had to tap none other than NoSleepNYC, aka Luis Nieto Dickens, to capture the chaos and all of the crazies who danced for 9+ hours non-stop in between swigs of Club Mate and fried chicken snacks. Peep a few of our favorites snaps below and let the FOMO commence.
