Who are you?
What do you do?
I'm a painter based in New York.
What are you most proud of from 2018?
I'm proud of the work I made for my solo show at Jack Barrett this past September. The paintings I made were heavily inspired by the luscious, humid colors of summertime spent in my hometown Pittsburgh, and in LA where I was for the remainder of the summer.
What do you think will be your biggest challenge in 2019?
I think the biggest challenge will be finding my flow and focus in the studio again after a really busy year, having shown work in three different cities.
What do you think will be your biggest opportunity in 2019?
My biggest opportunity I believe will be when I head to Hong Kong for a six week residency. I'll have the opportunity to travel and explore while making work there for a large group exhibition in Europe this spring. I've never been so far away and I am so excited!
