Hanifa's First Shoe Line

Cult-favorite brand Hanifa has announced the release of its first footwear collection. Their shoes come in two styles, the Zeta heel and Zoe boot, and are both made from sheepskin leather. The Zeta heels are available in pear, marshmallow, and paprika while the Zoe boots come in bone and black. Founder and designer Anifa Mvuemba has another first coming down the pipeline—her first-ever in-person show is set to be in Washington, D.C. on November 16th at The National Portrait Gallery.

Chanel No. 5 Takes Over New York's Rockefeller Center

To mark the centennial anniversary of the house's No. 5 perfume, Chanel is creating an immersive week-long open-air activation at New York's historic Rockefeller Center. From November 6 to November 12, patrons can visit the In The Stars exhibit, chronicling the development and history of the world's first scent created by a woman. The Rockefeller's iconic ice-skating rink will also join in on the celebration, with the perfume's logo illuminating the rink and a limited-edition Chanel-themed lounge.

Susan Alexandra Opens First Brick-And-Mortar Boutique

After a lengthy cliffhanger from Susan Alexandra's previous runway showing, the beaded designer is back and better than ever. With a new flagship boutique, the designer is expanding her accessories empire. Designed in collaboration with Lula Galeano and Levi Shaw Faber, the store takes you inside the label's colorful world, with geometric patterns and fluorescent hues lining the walls. The space is acting not only as a boutique for designer Susan Korn's array of bags, jewelry, and homeware, but also a retail destination for emerging designers in an effort to foster a larger arts community within her brand.

The boutique will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am-7pm at 33 Orchard Street, New York.

A Rizzoli Book Details Marcelo Burlon’s Life

Angelo Flaccavento's new biography Marcelo Burlon County of Milan: Confidential is an intimate insight into the nine lives of Marcelo Burlon's life. Burlon was a former factory worker, waiter, bouncer, party organizer/club promoter, DJ, publicist stylist, fashion editor, turned designer, photographer, and philanthropist. The illustrated book, featuring 300 personal photographs, sketches, and illustrations, takes a look at Marcelo's humble upbringing in Argentina from an Italian-Lebanese family before making his way to Italy and starting his high-end streetwear label.

Acne Studios and Apollinaria Broche Deliver Artistic Collaboration

Franco-Russian Ceramic artist Apollinaria Broche is tapping into childhood nostalgia with their latest Acne Studios collaboration, transforming clay sculpture into stuffed animals reminiscent of bedtime stories. Burberry and GOAT Release Exclusive Sneaker

Beginning November 1, you too can cop the Burberry drip. At the beginning of the month, the British label is partnering with hype e-tailer GOAT to release eight new renditions of the signature Burberry Arthur sneaker exclusive to the online platform. Available in both mens and women's sizes, punk silhouettes come in tempest grey, pistachio, optic white, silver, and gold.

Tommy Hilfiger and Timberland Debut Their First Collection Together

Tommy Hilfiger and Timberland have partnered up to announce its first of two partnership drops. The brands have come together in an iconic mix to celebrate the '90s. Combining Tommy Hilfiger's American DNA with Timberland's outdoor aesthetic, the collection contains apparel, footwear, and accessories. Covetable pieces include weather-resistant parkas, reversible varsity jackets, zip-off carpenter pants, and a twist on the classic Timberland boot. The second drop will be released in November.

Bloomingdale's exclusive brand Aqua and woolen clothing brand Pendleton created a collection ready for the chillier weather. Two of Pendleton's iconic patterns were remixed with new color schemes for the autumnal season. The collaboration blends Pendleton's American heritage with Aqua's modern silhouettes. Fall favorites include a reversible coat, hooded puffer, quilted cropped jacket, knitwear separates, and smocked dresses.

But now, the company is launching a brand of their own for the very first time called There Was One, which they developed with New Guards Group. The brand is a collection of elevated wardrobe essentials that was devised by drawing together data-driven insights on what customers search for. Sterling Ruby's S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. has a new capsule of work entitled "INSECT INDEX" as a nod to the graphics in the collection, which merge text from various animalia taxonomies with captions from biological diagrams. Included are two float jacquard wool sweaters with inverted text, along with washed denim pieces from AP, a reappropriation program in which past garments are reimagined using new treatments and techniques.

Parisian independent fashion brand Maison Kitsuné and South Korean creative label ADER ERROR have teamed up for a fourth collaboration that takes the 'The Bluest Fox' concept from last year's collection even further. The new collection consists of unisex, oversized staples such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and a cap, twisted with the collaboration's logos printed and patched on the front, and misplaced tag detailing.

Nordstrom NYC and Dr. Martens have joined forces to create a grunge rock basement in the middle of a department store. Starting October 11, shoppers can experience the German work shoe in a whole different light, taking center stage at Nordstrom's flagship location. Displaying 30 styles—two of them exclusive to the department store until November 1—the collaborative installation honors Dr. Martens' longhand support of musicians and artists.

Mirror Palais Hosts Their First Pop-Up

Dior Launches New B30 Sneaker

The B30, a new style designed by Kim Jones for Dior Men Spring 2022 is a flexible and lightweight running-inspired shoe made of technical materials like microfiber and mesh for a sporty yet elegant feel. It has a reflective "CD" logo on each side as well as the sole and heel, and comes in five colors: black, white, olive, beige and lime.

Away Announces First Designer Collaboration Series

The Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris is opening a new exhibition from October 21, 2021 to February 20, 2022 titled Cartier and Islamic Art: In Search of Modernity which shows the influence Islamic Art has had on the high jewelry brand in its designs from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. More than 500 pieces from the Cartier Collection, private and public loans, drawings, books, photographs and archival documents trace the origins of the brand's interest in Oriental motifs.

Mattel Announces a New Cadillac Designed by Gucci

As part of Gucci's 100th anniversary, the fashion house has tapped Mattel and Hot Wheels to pay homage to the original collaboration with General Motors in the 1970s. The limited-edition scale model is a new Cadillac Seville designed by the luxury house. Featuring an interlocking double G crest, a gold Gucci hood ornament, gold Gucci emblem on the wheels, and Gucci Web strips on the rear, the collaboration is an Italian twist on the Detroit automobile.
